Terms of service.

Last updated June 4, 2026. These terms govern catering orders placed with Shawarma Moose.

Booking

Catering orders are confirmed once we receive a 50% deposit and a signed acceptance of the itemized quote. Orders must be confirmed at least 5 business days in advance, though we accommodate shorter timelines when possible.

Pricing and HST

All prices on this site are exclusive of 13% Ontario HST. Delivery fees are stated separately and included in your itemized quote. The price quoted is honored for the confirmed event date.

Payment

We accept e-transfer, credit cards (via secure invoice link, 2.9% surcharge), cheques, and purchase orders. Final balance is due the day before the event or on delivery. Late payments may be subject to interest at the rate prescribed by Ontario law.

Changes and cancellations

Headcount and menu adjustments are accommodated up to and including the day of the event. For cancellations, we offer credit toward a future order; refund eligibility depends on the timing and circumstances and is handled case-by-case.

Food safety

All food is prepared in our Toronto licensed kitchen and complies with applicable City of Toronto and Ontario food-safety regulations. Once delivered, food is the responsibility of the customer; we recommend serving promptly and storing leftovers per food-safety guidelines.

Dietary and allergens

We label dietary tags (HL, GF, DF, V, VEG, NF) on packaging based on the standard ingredients of each item. While we accommodate excluded allergens on request, we prepare food in a shared kitchen and cannot guarantee absolute absence of cross-contact. Customers with severe allergies should disclose them at the time of quote so we can plan accordingly.

Halal certification

All protein on our menu is 100% halal-certified. We do not serve non-halal meat from our kitchen.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any claim related to a catering order is limited to the amount paid by the customer for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes are resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
